Boscastle is a village and fishing port on the north coast of Cornwall, England, UK and is part of the parish of Forrabury and Minster. It is 14 miles (23 km) south of Bude and 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Tintagel so it is a perfect place to stay if you wish to explore the rest of the scenic county as nearby attractions,beaches and coastpaths are easily accessible. Boscastle harbour is a natural inlet protected by two stone harbour walls built in 1584, lying within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It is also the only significant harbour for 20 miles (32 km) along the beautiful rugged Cornish coast meaning that the picturesque village is a hive of activity especially during the summer months where fresh lobster,fish and crab are caught daily and then served in the nearby restaurants.
